Binh Duong controls well the epidemic

 Up to this point, the epidemic situation in the province is under good control, no cases of Covid-19 infection have been reported. In the period of preventing epidemics from spreading in the community, Binh Duong has promptly implemented new measures, mobilized the participation of all political forces.

 Many new measures have been implemented

Huynh Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of provincial Health Department, said: “Facing the new development of Covid-19 spreading in the community, under the direction of the Prime Minister and Ministry of Health, Binh Duong has urgently implemented drastic and thorough epidemic prevention activities.  Up to this point, the epidemic situation in the province is under good control, no cases of Covid-19 infection have been reported. During this period, Binh Duong had new and innovative measures taken; including technology transfer of sampling techniques, preservation and transportation of Covid-19 test samples to district, town and city health centers. The investigation and verification of cases coming back from the epidemic areas was implemented in time, with the participation of political forces. New technologies and new applications have been strongly employed in epidemic prevention, especially tracing suspected cases and case exposure”.

In the light of complicated developments of the Covid-19, all personnel of Provincial Center for Disease Control were not enough to take samples of all suspicious cases. Therefore, provincial Department of Health approved of Provincial Center for Disease Control transferring sampling technique and transporting test samples to the staff of district, town and city health centers. Accordingly, the district health facilities will directly take samples for Covid-19. This is to help medical centers to be ready and proactively respond to the epidemic at risk of infection among the community.

Also during this period, Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention Control received four medical quarantine rounds of Vietnamese overseas citizens returning homeland under the coordination of Military Region 7. A total of 1,306 Vietnamese citizens returning homeland was received and quarantined. These citizens are mostly workers, oversea students, the elderly, and children who wish to return homeland. Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention Control received and carry out concentrated quarantine at Becamex - My Phuoc social housing area (Ben Cat town) and Bau Bang New Medical Center thoughtfully, safely according to the procedures.

Civil servants and Party members take the lead

Immediately after Da Nang City recorded Covid-19 infected cases in the community, speaking at a meeting with provincial departments and branches, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, called on officials and party members in the province: "In order to spread the fighting spirit against the epidemic, transform it into actions in the community, all Party cadre, branches and unions at all levels need to further uphold their pioneering and exemplary role in thoroughly communicating and implementing guidelines and solutions of the Party and the Government, instructions of Ministry of Health on Covid-19 prevention and control. That is the first step to create positive, practical effects that contribute to winning against the pandemic".

Following the direction of the Chairman, civil servants and party members uphold their pioneering and exemplary role. This starts from very small things, like: Wear face mask regularly; wash hands with antibacterial solution, voluntarily make medical declarations and install Bluezone mobile apps.

In Thu Dau Mot City, officials, civil servants, and workers returning from the epidemic areas do not make health declarations, heads of their agencies and units will be censured. Nguyen Loc Ha, Chairman of Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee, said: “To trace back cases related to the epidemic outbreak in Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai, TDM City strictly check suspected cases, promote the exemplary role".

To implement the exemplary role of civil servants, party members, we went to each house, checked each person to strictly control the entry into the province, suspected cases; propagate and encourage people to strictly implement instructions of the Party and the Government on epidemic prevention and control; ensure security and order in concentrated isolated areas; to intensify the fight and prevention activities against taking advantage of the epidemic to commit crimes, making an important contribution to preventing the spread of epidemic. Especially during the patrol on August 3, the police of Di An City discovered 6 Chinese illegally entering Binh Duong. After that, provincial Immigration Department of the Provincial Police Department collaborated with police of Di An City to inspect and enforce the quarantine of all six Chinese people and 1 taxi driver at Bau Bang District Medical Center.
