Outstanding collectives, individuals in culture-sports-tourism sector honored

On August 26, provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism (DoCST) held a conference honoring advanced role-models for the 2015-2020 period.

The event was attended by Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

During the 2015-2020 period, the sector’s commendation-reward work reached positive results. Particularly, the sector launched emulation movements in association with the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW dated June 15, 2016 on acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle. At the event, delegates exchanged with the sector’s 3 outstanding individuals, namely Nguyen Phu Yen, Vice-Director of provincial DoCST, Karate coach Nguyen Minh Phung and People’s Artisan Nguyen Thi Thu Hong.

On this occasion, 4 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit of the Prime Minister. Provincial DoCST also honored, commended and rewarded 27 collectives, 75 individuals with excellent achievements in the sector’s patriotic emulation movements for the 2015-2020 period.
