Binh Duong donates 600 million dongs for people in Ha Giang and Lai Chau affected by flash flood

To share with the people of Ha Giang and Lai Chau provinces suffering damages due to flash floods and landslide, the Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front of Binh Duong Province is submitting PPC to donate 600 million dongs for the two provinces mentioned above. The amount is deducted from the Provincial Relief Fund. After being approved by PPC, the money will be transferred to Relief Fund of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Giang and Lai Chau provinces. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also suggested the local Fatherland Front to soon transfer the amount of support to the families affected.

In addition to support from the province, units and individuals in Binh Duong province also actively contact to support the northern provinces affected by floods.

According to the report of the Central Steering Committee for natural disaster prevention and control, the last natural disaster killed 23 people, 10 missing and 16 injured. 2,416 houses were damaged, spilled, swept away and flooded; 1,535 hectares of damaged and damaged crops. The worst damage was in Lai Chau province (16 dead, 9 missing, 15 wounded, 730 houses damaged, spilled, swept away, 702 ha of crops damaged).
