A relief delegation of Binh Duong province, led by provincial Fatherland Front Committee Chairwoman Dao Ngoc Nu, yesterday visited and donated 1,000 gifts, including VND500mln in cash and 2.5tons of essential goods, to flood-hit people in Ninh Hai district’s Phuong Hai and Thap Cham city’s My Hai in the central south province of Ninh Thuan province.

 It is known that Phuong Hai and My Hai were seriously hit by flood beginning from Oct.29 to Nov.5. This was also the biggest flood in the past 10 years in the central south province of Ninh Thuan. Pham Thi Nhan, Vice-Chairwoman of Phuong Hai communal People’s Committee said that the local authorities and people are urgently overcoming the consequences of the flood.

 The delegation today, Nov.11 continues to provide relief aid for flood-hit people in the central province of Khanh Hoa. It is known that all the above-mentioned money was contributed by Binh Duong province’s businesses, organizations and people.
