Binh Duong donates nearly VND 4 billion in Tet gifts to need households in Binh Phuoc

Early January 25, a program to give Tet gifts for households with difficult circumstances took place in Binh Phuoc province’s Chon Thanh town.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Phuoc provincial Party Committee and comrades in the Party Standing Committees of the Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces.

In a bid to help households with difficult circumstances so that spring can come to every home and everyone, helping everyone have a warm and joyful Tet, leaders of Binh Duong province awarded VND 3.3 billion to 11 districts, towns and cities in Binh Phuoc province. On this occasion, leaders of Binh Duong province also sent 300 gifts worth VND1.3million each to disadvantaged households in Chon Thanh town. The total cost for the program was nearly VND 4 billion, including VND3.45billion from Becamex IDC.

In addition, Binh Duong provincial Red Cross Society mobilized a number of units and individuals to support the Red Cross Society of Binh Phuoc province with VND 300 million, the Red Cross Society of Bu Dop district with 200 gifts and the Red Cross Society of Loc Ninh district with a “red cross” house worth VND 80 million.
