Binh Duong joining hands to help victims of typhoon Wutip

In response to an appeal made by Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) plus approval of provincial Party Committee, provincial FFC has set up a relief delegation to help victims of typhoon Wutip, the tenth to hit Viet Nam this year, according to provincial FFC Chairman Pham Van Canh. As planned, the delegation starts its relief trip in the central region’s 4 provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri today, October 5. The 9-day trip will last until October 13.

Joining hands to help victims of typhoon Wutip

Mr.Pham Van Canh said that during the relief trip, provincial FFC has extracted VND2bln from its fund to support Wutip victims in four central provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Nghe An and Ha Tinh. Particularly, Quang Binh and Quang Tri will be supported VND600mln each while Nghe An and Ha Ting will be provided VND400mln each.

Thanh Le Import-Export Trading One-Member Co. has also provided 3,000 boxes of instant noodle in aid relief to victims hit by the storm No.10 in the central region. It is known that delegation will directly visit families that have their relatives killed in the devastating storm to console them, helping relief their pain.

According to Mr.Pham Van Canh, Thanh Le Import-Export Trading Trading One-Member Co. is the first unit giving aid relief to victims hit by typhoon Wutip in the central region. Yesterday afternoon, October 4, provincial FFC also launched a campaign calling for people from all strata in the province to join hands to help Wutip victims stabilize their lives and resume production. It is known that the campaign will last until October 31.

Late October 4, the preparatory work of 3,000 boxes of instant noodle and many other essential things for victims of typhoon Wutip at Thanh Le Import-Export Trading One-Member Co.Ltd. took place very promptly.

Provincial FFC together with relevant units also mobilized all staff to prepare for their relief trip to the central provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri on the morning of October 5. Tran Thi Son, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial FFC said that all preparatory activities for the 9-day relief trip have been completed. "We hope enterprises and people across the province will uphold Vietnamese's tradition of "mutual love and mutual affection" to help the storm No.10-hit victims in the central region”, she said.

Nguyen Thi Trung, a staff of Thanh Le Import-Export Trading One-Member Co.Ltd. said: " Witnessing great losses caused by the storm No.10 for people in the central region, we  want to be shared with them and instant noodle boxes will be the first relief aid to them. In the coming days, we will further get involved in more practical relief actions for those people in the central region, helping them stabilize their lives and resume production".

Meanwhile, Tran Dinh Giap, Deputy General Director of Thanh Le Import-Export Trading One-Member Co.Ltd. said that upholding the spirit of "mutual love and mutual affection" plus approval of provincial Party Committee and FFC, the company's directorate has actively got involved in support activities for victims hit by the storm No.10 in the central region. Along with 3,000 boxes of instant noodle and many other essential things, the company has sent its staff to the delegation  to present gifts to households most seriously affected by the storm No.10, helping them soon stabilize their lives.
