Binh Duong prepares content and agenda for Provincial People's Council’s year-end session

On October 7, Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council in collaboration with Provincial People's Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting to agree on the time, content, and agenda of Provincial People's Council’s regular session at the end of 2022. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Chanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, attended the meeting.

This session is slated for December 8 and 9. At this year-end session, the Provincial People's Council will evaluate the situation and implementation results of resolutions on economic development and law enforcement in the province in 2022, and set out directions, tasks for 2023; evaluate reports according to Law on supervision activities of the National Assembly and People's Council, conduct questioning and answer questions. The session will assess and approve 24 reports, 5 verification reports, 23 proposals, 24 draft resolutions... 

Concluding the meeting, Pham Van Chanh asked the Provincial People's Committee to direct the departments and branches to coordinate with specialized Boards of Provincial People's Council to carefully prepare documents with quality assurance and on schedule to submit to the year-end session. The Provincial People's Council will coordinate with Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to organize voter meetings before and after the session.

* In the afternoon of the same day, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held the 12th session to approve the content of the next session. The meeting approved submissions and verification reports on the following issues: Regulations on the minimum housing area entitling permanent residence at legal accommodation in Binh Duong province; regulations on funds for vaccination against animal diseases in Binh Duong province; amendments to Resolution No. 01/2022/NQ-HDND dated April 25th 2022 of the Provincial People's Council, regulating the content and organization cost of examinations and contests in education and training sector in Binh Duong province; amendments and supplements to Resolution No. 26/2019/NQ-HDND dated December 12th 2019 on regulations on support regime, financial spending, and spending norms for cultural and sports sectors in Binh Duong province.
