Binh Duong provincial Federation of Friendly Organizations organizes its 2020-2025 tenure congress

Early December 18, Binh Duong provincial Federation of Friendly Organization held its second delegation congress for 2020-2025 tenure. Attending the congress was Nguyen Van Loc, standing member cum Head of Mass Mobilization Board of Binh Duong provincial Party Commmittee and Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherand Front Committee, Ho Quang Diep, standing member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincia People’s Council and Nguyen Thanh Truc, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee.

The Binh Duong provincial Federation of Friendly Organizations currently has 8 member associations and a advocacy committee to establish the Vietnam - Singapore Friendly Association.  In the past tenure, the union has organized many activities of peace, solidarity, friendship, and large-scale conferences to enhance friendship and solidarity with partners and friends in the world while promoting  external communication in various and effective forms and forming the all-people fronts to do the people's relation. The Federation and its member associations are always interested in people's external relations activities, linking people's external activities with the implementation of their political duties.

In addition, the Federation is always actively participating in international conferences and seminars held in Binh Duong such as Horasis in 2018, 2019, Conference of the World Technopolis Association (WTA) 2018 and so on. Along with that, the Federation coordinated with relevant sectors to advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the issuance, renewal, amendment and supplementation of registration papers for foreign non-governmental organizations. The Federation also actively introduces the province's socio-economic development, potentials and investment opportunities to foreign delegations, helping them better understand the country and people of  Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular.

In 2020-2025 tenure, Binh Duong provincial Federation of Friendly Organization and its member associations will continue to enhance diplomatic information and information about people’s relation, extend activities of exchanging people’s friendly relation and culture, coordinate to organize political and diplomat events and mark the anniversaries of diplomacy of Vietnam with other nations. Concurrently, the Federation and its member associations focus on constructing and socializing resources for people’s relation.

On this occasion, Federation of Vietnamese Friendly Organizations awarded commemorating medal of peace and friendliness of collectives and individuals for their proactive contribution to people’s relation. Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee awarded merit certificates to collectives and individuals for their brilliant performance in people’s relation in 2015-2020. 

Previously at the preparing session, the congress negotiated staffs for the executive board and inspectorate of the Federation in 2020-2025 tenure. The executive board of the 2nd tenure met in the first session to elect a standing board, chairman/chairwoman, deputy chairman/chairwoman, and head of the inspectorate. In a result, Tran Thi Kim Van was reelected as Chairwoman of Binh Duong provincial Federation of Friendly Organization for 2020-2025 tenure.
