North Tan Uyen District to strive for four breakthrough programs

Many efforts to rise up

Looking back on results of 2020, Thai Thanh Binh, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of District People's Committee, said that due to the impact of Covid-19, the District Party Committee and People's Committee strived to carry out drastic solutions to solve difficulties, promote economic development, guarantee social security, and maintain local political security and social order safety. As a result, all the socio-economic development targets of the district were fulfilled and exceeded the annual plan. Local political security, social order and safety was stable, economic growth was sustained, and social security guaranteed.

Specifically, values of industrial production - agriculture - services increased compared to 2019 and exceeded the annual plan. In which, the value of agricultural production achieved 2,420 billion VND, increased 4.72%. Industrial production value was VND4,258 billion, up over 11%. The economic - technical and social infrastructure systems in the district continued to receive investment and better served inhabitants. Especially, procedures for two key transport projects of the district have been completed for commencement. Areas in the district maintained 19 new rural standards; and quality of the implementation was improved. During the Covid-19, the application of social security policies was well implemented, creating a wide spread in society,  mobilizing a variety of resources to support the government in implementing policies.

Regarding the Party building work, the building of political system also gained good results. Besides the implementation of completion of programs and plans, Party committees at all levels focused on the preparation and successful organization of Party Congress at all levels for tenure 2020-2025. Ideology and thoughts of party members, officials was stable, steadfast in political stance, and had confidence in the Party's innovation and leadership. Party committees continued to lead and direct the implementation of Central Resolution 4 on building and reorganizing the Party integrated with enhancing the learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The consolidation and improvement of leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations, the quality of party members concerned Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and also gained many good results. The organization and arrangement of political system combined with streamlining and downsizing gained good results. The inspection and supervision work is done by Party committees and inspection committees at all levels according to proposed programs.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations carried out patriotic emulation movements, campaign effectively; at the same time, took care of legitimate rights and interests of members and workers; encouraged the spirit of creative work, promoting democracy at the grassroots level. Many movements have brought practical effects in all areas of social life, proved its role to connect the people and Party, government, contributing to improving the operational effectiveness of political system.

To clearly define goals for 2021

According to Thai Thanh Binh, good results in 2020 were very important and encouraging, but there were still shortcomings and difficulties that need to be seriously overcome and handled in 2021. Namely, the district continues to invest in dynamic socio-economic infrastructure, especially works of administrative center and infrastructure in administrative zone of the district, North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang Highway. To implement investment procedures for the function conversion of Da Ban reservoir in Dat Cuoc commune. To actively implement criteria of new model rural construction, model orchards, model new rural residential areas, and the program "One product per commune". To actively implement of the 13th National Party Resolution, 11th Provincial Party Resolution, and 12th North Tan Uyen District Party Resolution. To summarize and draw lessons from the effective implementation of model "Friendly government of the people, by the people and for the people" and "Friendly offices for the people" in the whole district, in order to better serve the people when it comes to administrative procedures.

In economic sectors, the district regularly monitors the pest and diseases situation on plants and animals to take measures and show timely treatment to farmers. To focus on developing cattle and poultry herds in parallel with epidemic disease prevention and control. To call for investment in industrial zones and clusters with completed infrastructure, encourage investment in high-tech industries, applying scientific and technical advances, advanced technologies and friendly with the environment. Especially, from now until Lunar New Year 2021, the district makes effort to implement well policies to ensure social security; to take good care of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution, social beneficiaries, poor households, and near-poor households.
