Currently, the whole province has over 41,000 domestic enterprises and more than 3,700 FDI enterprises. In order to create a favorable environment for production and business development, in recent years, the province has implemented many measures, instructed, and encouraged enterprises to strictly implement laws and regulations on occupational safety and health (OSH).
Since the 2015 Law on Labor Safety and Health came into effect, Binh Duong has been considered as a province that implement well regulations on working time, break time, remuneration regime, personal protective equipment, lists of heavy hazardous, toxic, dangerous works, labor accident and occupational disease allowances. Meanwhile, organizations and businesses also invested, improved working environment, ensure safety of equipment, factories, emissions, waste water, noise, grassroots health care system took care of employee's health and lives. In addition, every year, Provincial People's Committee establishes multisectoral inspection teams on OSH, inspected labor-intensive production facilities; give sanction to violations of OSH.
With the synchronous and practical implementation, Binh Duong has been making changes in OSH, contributing to creating a sustainable production and business environment for businesses.
