Outstanding female police officiers honored

On the afternoon of October 21, provincial Police Agency held a get-together to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union and the 14th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day. The event was attended by Vo Thi Bach Yen, Chairwoman of provincial Women's Union; Colonel Nguyen Van Dut, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency and 250 delegates from 22 grassroots women's associations under provincial Police Agency.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the traditions of the Vietnam Women's Union from its founding until now; exchanged with two outstanding female police officers having outstanding achievements in their profession and association work. The organization board also awarded outstanding Binh Duong Police Women awards to 17 individuals; gave flowers and gifts as gratitude for cadres of provincial Police Agency’s Women's Union over periods; awarded 10 "Godmother - Sharing love" gifts to orphans and children with difficult circumstances. Up to now, provincial Police Agency’s Women's Association has sponsored 40 orphans, providing more than VND 460 million in support and VND 72 million in donated school supplies.

Colonel Nguyen Van Dut congratulated and acknowledged achievements done by female police officers over the past time. Through the emulation movement of "Good at work, good at home", female police officiers also actively participated in social activities at the agency, well performed their responsibilities as wives and mothers in taking care of happy families...
