Binh Duong visits, supports Cao Bang in addressing aftermath of Yagi typhoon

On the afternoon of September 17, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Head of provincial Relief Committee, visited and provided support to the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang.

During the visit, the delegation supported Cao Bang provincial Fatherland Front Committee, with VND 3 billion, including VND1 billion contributed by Becamex IDC. Additionally, provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Red Cross Society mobilized donors and businesses in the province to support 15 tons of essential goods and necessities. Kim Oanh Group also provided 30 tons of rice and many scholarships to promptly assist people and students facing difficulties in Cao Bang province.

Previously, through the Central Relief Committee, Binh Duong had supported 10 northern provinces affected by Yagi typhoon with VND 1 billion allocated to each province. Along with gift distributions from provincial agencies and departments, the province’s total value of goods and cash support for those affected by Yagi typhoon in the  northern provinces has so far exceeded VND 25 billion.

Provincial Relief Committee is continuing mobilizing individuals, organizations and businesses in the province to contribute resources to the areas affected by Yagi typhoon, aiming at helping residents quickly recover from the natural disaster and stabilize their lives.
