Early March 12, provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem had a working session with Hungary’s S-Group PLC company to discuss approach to official development assistance (ODA) of the Hungarian Government to carry out the local projects on health infrastructure, water supply and drainage… 

The company has been commissioned to work with partners and localities in Vietnam to provide ODA for projects in the fields of health, education, water supply and drainage. After learning about the province’s socio-economic performance, especially in the fields of health, education, water supply and drainage, Mr.Viktor Varga, financial manager of the S-Group PLC company said that Binh Duong was suitable to criteria for receiving ODA from Hungary.

At the session, the two sides reached unanimity towards ODA disbursement from Hungary. Mr.Viktor Varga said that Binh Duong would build 4 hospitals, including a 1,500-bed hospital. Hence, the above cooperation needed to be promoted to disburse capital for this hospital.

Mr.Liem also thanked the Government of Hungary for ODA support for localities in Vietnam, including Binh Duong while wanting that the S-Group PLC company would soon forward province-based projects using ODA capital from Hungary. He pledged that Binh Duong would effectively use Hungary’s ODA capital.
