Bringing warm Spring to laborers

Laborers enjoy folk games.

On these days, Spring has appeared across streets, factories and on face of laborers. Along with application of regional minimum wage, charity gift trips of authorities, mass bodies and localities have brought a warm Spring for laborers.

Spring gifts

Like the previous years, Binh Duong holds charity gift trips for immigrant laborers on the coming Tet holiday. Aside from assistance on materials, Spring gift trips carry messages of care and sharing to laborers, contributing to spur local process of industrialization and modernization.

This year, the local Labor Union holds to take about 1,220 laborers to their hometowns on the Spring 2015. Besides, many local enterprises organize many gift trips for immigrant workers. Especially, local authorities hold significant programs for alien laborers who can not afford to come back their homeland for Tet holiday.

Despite difficulties and challenges, most of enterprises remain ensured Tet bonus level for laborers like the past year. Moreover, many enterprises increase Tet bonus level of 10-20% from the past year. This shows that enterprises consider laborers as their precious asset to keep laborers.

An overall care

Trade union at all levels in cooperation with functional agencies ensures laborers’ legitimate rights and interests. In addition, support funds for laborers are set up  such as charity fund, assistance fund and more that timely help needy laborers overcome difficulties.

Tran Van Duong, member of UniPresident Co.Ltd.’s trade union unluckily suffered a labor accident and enjoyed assistance from Binh Duong industrial parks’ trade union and the company trade union.

Along with support of materials, activities of spirit such as entertainment playgrounds have been held by agencies and sectors at all levels. Especially, significant programs and deeds are set out to gather young workers.

Nguyen Thien Phuoc, vice chairman of the provincial Labor Union said in the coming time the provincial trade union at all levels will continue to take care of laborers’ material and spiritual life. In Tet holiday 2015 alone, the provincial Labor Union will hold gift visits for laborers that funds will be disbursed from budget and socialization. All of these activities are to bring a warm Spring for laborers.
