On Sep 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a forum themed "The role of business in the development of Southern key economic region". At the seminar, Mr. Liem made his speech on "The role of enterprises in developing the southern key economic region", assessed the region's achievements in recent years, efforts of provincial and city authorities, the bond of the regional business community, the role of businesses as a driving force for regional development and integration. Mr. Liem also pointed out the shortcomings and bottlenecks in implementing regional linkages, affecting the operation of enterprises, and proposed solutions to further promote the role of enterprises in economic development for the southern key economic region in the coming time.
