May 5, at Binh Duong provincial Administrative Center, the provincial People's Council coordinated with the Center to the training of deputies to organize a training conference for candidates running for the 15th National Assembly Delegation and members of People's Councils for 2021-2026 tenure. The conference was online to 98 attending points in the province. Attending the meeting were Vo Van Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People's Council and Chairman of the provincial Election Commission, Ho Quang Diep, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Council cum Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Council.
The conference listened to Pham Phuong Thao, former Head of Delegation of National Assembly of Ho Chi Minh city and former Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh city People's Council regarding the basic knowledge about the local government, People's Council, and required skills for the candidate. The conference also heard Dang Ngoc Tung, former Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presenting knowledge about the election of People's Council deputies.
Also at the conference, Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee quickly informed the basics of the socio-economic situation of Binh Duong province over the past time and solutions of socio-economic development in the coming time.
The conference aimed to equip candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure with basic knowledge about the local government, the People's Council, the elections and necessary skills to build the action plans, propaganda, election campaigning, voter meetings, and to be trusted by the election to be the elected as representatives representing the will and aspirations of the people.
