Ceremony to celebrate outstanding achievements at festivals, contests in 2022 held

On the afternoon of September 9, a ceremony to congratulate provincial Trade Union on outstanding achievements at festivals, contests in 2022 was held at provincial Arts and Culture Center.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council; Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Art Performance under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Under the direction of provincial People's Committee, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned provincial Culture and Arts Center to set up a program to participate in the "National Professional Music and Dance Festival 2021" and the national "Singing Festival of Workers 2022"; provincial Library to participate in the "Festival of Librarians to propagate and introduce books in 2022". As a result, provincial Arts and Culture Center won 2 gold medals. Provincial Library grasped the excellent award.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong highly appreciated the efforts by the province in investing in the culture, sports and tourism sector and taking care of the lives of officials and artists. He also wanted that the province's Culture, Sports and Tourism sector in general, provincial Arts-Culture Center and Library in particular will further uphold and invest more in creative arts and culture because investment in culture is the investment for the future.

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee, Labor Union, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism commended provincial Arts-Culture Center, Library and individuals with outstanding achievements.
