Cooperation agreement on agricultural development towards high-tech, urban agriculture to be signed

On Jul 27, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and HCMC Open University signed a cooperation agreement with many important contents to help Binh Duong in agricultural development towards high-tech, urban agriculture (photo). Attending the signing ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee.

Accordingly, HCMC Open University will help Binh Duong to develop animal husbandry-veterinary; plant cultivation-protection; professional training of agricultural promotion; student training; collaborative research in the field of agriculture ... to develop the province's agriculture sustainably.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu expressed his optimism about the cooperation between DARD and HCMC Open University. He hoped that this cooperation would improve farmers' production level and incomes. Advantageous areas of Binh Duong, such as animal husbandry and cultivation, now have more opportunities to develop faster and modern, to keep pace with other nations in the region.
