On the morning of March 28, the Steering Committee for Civil Judgment Enforcement (Civil Judgment Enforcement) of the province held a conference to evaluate the results of the work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Civil Judgment Enforcement of the province chaired the conference.
According to the report, in 2023, the coordination between the Provincial Civil Enforcement Department and relevant committees and sectors was carried out well, in accordance with regulations. The entire province received 308 citizens with 307 cases related to complaints, accusations, petitions, and feedback. The total number of cases resolved in the year was 25,768. After deducting the delegated cases, recovered cases, and canceled enforcement decisions, the total number of cases to be enforced was 25,082; the total amount of money resolved was over 8,069 billion VND.
In 2024, the civil enforcement sector of the province continues to advise the party committee, local government, and coordinates with departments, sectors, and localities to effectively implement Directive No. 04-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee on enhancing the Party's leadership in the recovery of assets lost or embezzled in criminal cases of corruption and economic crimes in the province. Along with that, the sector will organize training courses on civil judgment enforcement; actively organize dialogues in resolving complaints, denunciations; resolve 100% of old and new complaints, denunciations arising in the year.
Statement at the conference, Mr. Mai Hung Dung proposed that agencies, committees, and sectors continue to coordinate well in implementing civil judgment enforcement. During the implementation process, if encountering difficulties or obstacles, it is necessary to understand the causes and propose, seek opinions from competent authorities.
