Dau Tieng district needs to focus on land management to troubleshoot enterprises’ problems

On the afternoon of April 17, Nguyen Van Danh - Vice Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with the People's Committee of Dau Tieng district on the situation of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the first quarter of 2023 and orientations and tasks for the second quarter of 2023.

In the first quarter of 2023, the total value of products in the area was estimated to reach over VND 5,906 billion, increasing by 14.24% over the same period in 2022. In which, the industrial production value of the district increased by 18%; the value of commercial production - services increased by 12.5%; agricultural production value increased by 5% over the same period in 2022.

At the meeting, leaders of Dau Tieng district proposed the provincial authority to consider supplementing the list of traffic investment works for 2021-2025 and after 2025 in the district. Specifically, the main traffic works and axes of the district such as DT750, DT748, DT749D roads connecting with Bau Bang and Ben Cat townships, road DT749B connecting with Hon Quan district, Chon Thanh district of Binh Phuoc province along with a number of issues related to urban development, industry,resources - environment, budget - finance.

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Van Dich suggested that in the coming time the district should strengthen solutions to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, to focus on land management, construction investment works, to continue to remove difficulties and support enterprises to stabilize production and business operations. In addition, the district needs to focus on planning industrial, traffic, urban, cultural and social zones and clusters, ensuring compliance with the general planning of the province.

Regarding the proposals and recommendations of the district, Nguyen Van Danh suggested that departments and branches regularly coordinate with relevant units to report and propose specific content for the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve.
