Dau Tieng district People’s Committee to commend 67 excellent collectives and individuals of “Smart Mass Mobilization" in the 2011-2015

Morning Oct 12^th, Mass Mobilization Commission under Dau Tieng district People’s Committee held a meeting to commemorate the 85^th Party Mass Mobilization traditional day (Oct 15^th 1930 - Oct 15^th 2015) and commend examples of “Smart Mass Mobilization" in the 2011-2015.

At the meeting, participants reviewed 85 years of mass mobilization works and approved reports on the “Smart Mass Mobilization" movement in the 2011-2015. In 5 years, municipal Mass Mobilization Commission and armed forces organized 10 mass mobilization phases with the participation of more than 1,800 persons in clearing, dredging 40km of canals; offering 236 gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, policy families, families credited with serving revolution, ethnic minorities with a total supported amount of nearly VND100 million.

The sector also disseminated, gave training in mass mobilization works combined with “Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh”. There were 1,026 collectives and individuals register for the Smart Mass Mobilization" movement in the 2011-2015. Encouraged people to donate lands for new rural construction; cooperated with municipal Military Command and Corps 4 to give free health check-up and medication to nearly 900 poor patients, present medical equipment to 3 communes and towns with a total amount of over VND450 million.

On this occasion, 19 collectives and 48 individuals received certificates of merit from Dau Tieng district People’s Committee for outstanding achievements in the “Smart Mass Mobilization" movement in the 2011-2015.
