Many activities to celebrate the traditional day of Vietnam Youth Confederation

To celebrate the 59^th traditional day of Vietnam Youth Confederation (Oct 15^th 1956 - Oct 15^th 2015), provincial youth have organized many activities and executed practical projects. All are to build a strong organization, promote the youth’s role in the community.

Youth Confederation of Bach Dang commune (Tan Uyen town) held a traditional meeting and training camp for its members. Young cadres taking part in this camp received training in theory and practice, knowledge and skills. Commemorating the traditional day, North Tan Uyen district’s young persons organized a contest of Excellent Youth Union Secretaries - Youth Leaders to assess practical skills of young cadres, and commend outstanding ones in order to motivate the youth.

Realizing the importance of social effects, youngsters in the province have also executed many youth projects. In Di An town, Youth Union members installed free exercise equipment at Di An railway depot park. Tan Uyen town Youth Union also equipped Bach Dang communal cultural center with nets and volleyballs in order to create a healthy playground for local young ones.

To enhance the gratitude movement, Youth Union of Dau Tieng district’s agency bloc mobilized contributions from members to present benches to district martyr’s cemetery. To uphold the tradition of “drinking water, remember its source”, show their respects and gratitude to heroic martyrs, young members contributed VND12.5 million to implement this meaningful project, equipped the district martyr’s cemetery with 25 benches.
