Dau Tieng has good coordination with rubber company in economic development, social welfare work

On the afternoon of March 26, Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee held a conference to review the implementation of the joint regulation with Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. during the 2017-2019 period.

During the 2017-2019 period, the district’s People’s Committee and the company jointly made the restructuring of the local agricultural sector towards added value increase and sustainable development; strengthen the progress of investment of industrial parks, residential areas and hi-tech agricultural parks. The company has coordinated with the district’s People’s Committee to plant bananas and fruit trees with hi-tech application in Thanh An, Minh Tan and Long Hoa communes on a total area of more than 2,000 hectares; set up an industrial compound and a residential area with around 653 hectares in total; purchase more than 30,000 tons of rubber latex from small rubber plantations; well realize social welfare and many other works with a total value of nearly VND7billion.
