Delegation of NA Committee on Science, Technology and Environment works with Binh Duong

On the afternoon of September 27, a delegation of the National Assembly (NA) Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, led by Phan Xuan Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the NA Standing Committee, Chief of the NA Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, worked with Binh Duong province about the local implementation on survey and mapping regulations. Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of some relevant sectors, departments received the delegation.

According to a report by provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE), the province’s land map was basically digitized under the national VN-2000 genealogy as stipulated. The province’s survey and map management was also realized in accordance with the law…, but there were some issues in this field for change. Therefore, provincial DoNRE suggested the NA to soon promulgate the Law on Survey & Mapping and guidance documents so that localities have legal bases for implementation.

Speaking at the working session, Phan Xuan Dung spoke highly of the efforts by the province in realizing policies on survey and mapping. The province’s suggestions will be submitted to the NA in the next session.
