Social Policy Bank – Di An Town branch launches 8 preferential loan programs

At present, Social Policy Bank – Di An Town branch is applying 8 preferential loan programs, including preferential loans for poor, near-poor households, loans for students, clean water, job creation, SME loans and some other loans.

From the year beginning to the end of August 2017, the branch disbursed VND72 billion 741 million for 1,553 households, raising the total outstanding loans of the branch up to VND176 billion 321 million; capital entrusted from associations, unions accounted for 91.4% of total outstanding loans. Loans of near-poor households was the highest, with VND47 billion 105 million, for 2,094 households.

Although the amount of loans of Social Policy Bank – Di An Town branch was on a rise, generated bad debts only increased VND88 million per year. By the end of August 2017, total bad debt at the branch was VND758 million, accounting for 0.43% of outstanding loans.

Regarding capital mobilization, up to August 31, total deposit of Social Policy Bank – Di An Town branch was VND181 billion 762 million, up VND51 billion 910 million compared with the beginning of 2017; Of which deposit from the people was over VND4 billion 900 million.
