Delegations visit, present gifts to policy beneficiaries

Leaders of Ben Cat town, on July 24, held 2 delegations to visit and offer 111 gifts to the local policy beneficiaries. Among these gifts, there were 11 worth VND2.5million each for heroic Vietnamese mothers while 100 worth VND2million each were for policy beneficiaries with difficult circumstances.

In the visiting places, leaders of the town extended best regards to the local policy beneficiary families; encouraged them to well realize the Party’s policies and State’s laws and actively take part in the local patriotic emulation movement. They also asked for wards and communes to further take care of the material and spiritual lives of the local policy beneficiary families.

*Provincial branch of the Bank for Social Policies also organized a delegation to visit and offer gifts worth VND1million each to policy beneficiaries in TDM city, including heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Keo in Hiep An ward, martyr’s child Nguyen Thi Ut in Phu Tho ward and war invalid Nguyen Thanh Hoang in Chanh My ward.

*On the afternoon of the same day, Phu Giao district’s Youth Union Standing Committee held a delegation to visit and donate gifts to 7 heroic Vietnamese mothers.

In the visiting places, the delegation extended best regards to the mothers while giving them gifts worth VND500,000 each. The activity aimed to express the “when drinking water, remember its source” tradition of the nation in general and of young generations in particular to the sacrifices of heroic Vietnamese mothers during the struggle for national liberation and reunification.
