Detecting 2 foreigners not making medical declaration

During the period from 20:00 on June 3 to June 4,  the hotline of Bau Bang district’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control received workers' complaints about 2 cases returning from pandemic-hit areas, but not making medical declaration.

Through investigation, the two subjects are the Director and General Director of Swan Vina Company in the Bau Bang Industrial Park. They have Korean nationality and are temporarily residing in the Bau Bang Industrial Park in Lai Uyen town. Doctor Huynh Minh Chin, Director of the district’s Health Center, Deputy Head of the district’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that the above two cases visited Long Thanh Golf Course in Dong Nai province and had close contact with the F0 case, so the health sector promptly brought them to isolation at the district’s health center, took samples for testing.

The locality has also carried out chemical disinfection in residence and workplace of the two subjects. Through contact tracing and epidemiological investigation, as of June 5, there were 30 cases of F2 and 45 cases of F3, F4 related to the two subjects. The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Lai Uyen town and Lai Hung commune decided to make self-isolation at home for these related cases.
