Di An city needs to accelerate the implementation of key projects

On the afternoon of August 16, the delegation of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee led by Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee had a meeting with Di An city Party Committee on the results of implementing a number of tasks with focus under Program 128-Ctr/TU of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee. Receiving and working with the delegation was Ho Quang Diep, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Di An city Party Committee.

Reporting to the delegation, Vo Van Hong, Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Di An city, said that about 2,160 students have been added in the school year of 2023 - 2024. The city needs to recruit nearly 160 teachers for all levels of education. The city has received 260,815 out of 276,015 level 2 electronic identification account records, reaching the rate of 94.5%. Regarding the implementation of key projects in the city such as Vanh Dai 3, phase 1 of North-South Road 3, Northeast Vanh Dai 2, upgrading and expanding Road 30-4, the city is urgently completing documents as well as measuring with focus on completing the compensation price for site clearance for approvals. Particularly for Vanh Dai 3, the city has organized the first payment for 68 cases affected by the project with the amount of VND 979.407 billion.

At the meeting, leaders of Di An city proposed that the province should issue a bidding process for the collection, transportation and treatment of domestic solid waste in the province, consider increasing the payroll for the city's administrative block, arrange to increase funding for localities to carry out urban embellishment, environmental sanitation, implementation of the digital transformation project, the project of developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve the needs of the local community and national digital transformation service in 2022 – 2025 with a vision to 2030 (Project 06), remove difficulties and obstacles in the appraisal and approval of fire prevention and fighting work according to Resolution 35 of the Di An city Party Committee to contribute to the city's urban decoration.

Concluding the meeting, Vo Van Minh noted that Di An city should continue to promote socialization in the field of education to contribute to reducing the load on the public education system. For key projects and works, the city needs to drastically accelerate the implementation of key works, ensuring that by October 23, the construction of Tan Van intersection will begin. Particularly for the Digital Transformation Project and Project 06, the city needs to be more proactive in procurement according to its authority to contribute to the implementation of the tasks on schedule.
