Provincial People's Committee has recently issued a plan to organize activities in response to the National Digital Transformation Day and Binh Duong province's Digital Transformation Day (October 10, 2024). The activities celebrating the Digital Transformation Day 2024 in the province will be carried out in a diverse, innovative and creative manner, ensuring practicality, effectiveness in line with the local situation while aligning with the goals and theme of the Digital Transformation Day.
Accordingly, the province will accelerate the implementation of national digital transformation tasks, effectively executing provincial Party Committee’s Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU dated May 19, 2022 on the province’s digital transformation goals through 2025, with a vision toward 2030. Provincial People's Committee’s plans and directives on digital transformation will be promoted. The aim is to enhance the role and responsibility of officials, civil servants, employees and people in understanding the significance and benefits of digital applications to foster digital economy growth which will provide new momentum for economic growth and productivity. The entire political system, along with all citizens, will participate in synchronized actions at various levels to ensure the success of digital transformation.
Propaganda contents will focus on the theme of the 2024 National Digital Transformation Day and integrate relevant contents to the province’s specific situation. The activities in response to the Digital Transformation Day will emphasize three main messages: "Universalizing digital infrastructure and innovating digital applications to develop the digital economy—a new driving force for economic growth and productivity”; “Developing the digital economy with four pillars: IT industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital administration and digital data—key drivers for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development"; “Binh Duong must "remain steadfast, make breakthrough and accelerate", focusing on improving the quality of digital transformation in all fields, overcoming challenges and ensuring that no one stands aside in serving people and businesses.
Provincial People's Committee has directed the entire political system to intensify propaganda activities from September 15 to October 31, with the peak period from October 1 to October 10, 2024. These efforts must align with the goals, significance and theme of the 2024 Digital Transformation Day and be consistent with the national Digital Transformation Day plan set up by the Ministry of Information and Communications, in line with the province's conditions. Special attention will be given to a campaign with community digital technology teams that will "visit every alley, knock on every door and guide every citizen" in using services and applications to develop the digital economy and digital society. People will be guided on using practical services and applications such as online public services, cashless payments, e-commerce platforms and local e-commerce exchanges. Additionally, they will receive guidance on protecting themselves and their families online, effectively searching for information on the internet and applying AI in daily life.
