On Sep 14, in Tan Cang Song Than ICD, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City branch (VICC); Customs Department; Department of Taxation; Import and Export Association of Binh Duong Province jointly organised a conference with import and export companies in Binh Duong to discuss the work of tax, customs and Certificates of the Origin (C/O). Attending were representatives of over 150 export enterprises in the province and the leaders of related units.

To prevent errors in the import and export procedures of goods, the organizers in turn presented an overview of the latest changes in the Import and Export Tax Law; new regulations on customs procedures for bonded warehouses, CFS (retail warehouses) and others; the provisions on C/O, the advantages, preferences and responsibilities of enterprises in the C/O processing.
Questions raised by business representatives focused on the issue of VAT reimbursement procedures; disputes and complaints in VAT refunds; tax preferences for raw materials for manufacturing and exporting; the issue that after overcoming violating regulations on norms for raw materials, whether enterprises can further use the raw materials for production, export or domestic consumption... The questions and inquiries were answered by relevant departments following with adequate guides, to reduce errors and improve efficiency in the production, import and export.
