On December 20, Provincial Department of Home Affairs held a conference to disseminate policies and laws on beliefs and religions for monks and nuns of the 6th course at Binh Duong Buddhist Intermediate School.
At the conference, monks and nuns was informed by Phan Hoai Nam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Religious Affairs Committee (Department of Home Affairs) about the situation of belief and religious activities in the province; and some related content, such as: viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on belief and religion; some basic contents of the law on beliefs and religions; difficulties in implementing Vietnamese laws on belief and religion; expected amendments in the Decree replacing Decree 162/2017/ND-CP of the Government.
Through the conference, monks and nuns of the 6th course of Binh Duong Buddhist Intermediate School learned basic and important contents about policies and laws related to belief and religious activities. This serves well the learning process at school, applies it in practice after graduation to perform well in their Buddhist work, and at the same time comply with provisions of law.
