Ecotourism-combined fruit orchards developed in Dau Tieng district

In 2021-2025, Dau Tieng district continues to implement the agricultural and rural development plan in the district in the direction of civilization and value enhancement. Accordingly, the district has focused on directing production development, raising income for rural people, developing fruit-cultivating areas in combination with developing eco-tourism in Thanh Tuyen commune; at the same time, encourage agricultural development in the direction of urban agriculture, technology-applied agriculture, and construction of concentrated breeding areas.

Up to now, the whole district has 253 cattle and poultry farms, increasing by 5.9% over the same period. Total cattle herd is of 205,300 heads for meat output to the market at 40,964 tons a year, pig raising value reached VND 5.35 billion a hectare a year; poultry flocks of over 3.3 million heads for meat output of 41,000 tons a year; chicken raising value reached VND 3.7 billion a hectare year; herd of buffaloes and cows over 7,000 heads. The proportion of livestock sector accounts for 48.35% in the structure of the agricultural sector; aquaculture area is 11.6 hectares for the value of VND 646 million a hectare a year.
