Eight houses of compassion donated to the poor in Cau Ke district

 A delegation of Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee, headed by provincial vice-chairman Nguyen Van Hiep, visited and presented eight houses of compassion under the “House of compassion” program made by Binh Duong Television and Radio Station to poor households in Cau Ke district in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh.

 

It is known that each house is worth VND30mln, funded by Tison Paint Company and Tan Hiep Phat Group. Leaders of the two localities also discussed construction of the eight houses for poor households in Cau Ke district’s communes of Ninh Thoi, Chau Dien, Thong Hoa, Phong Thanh, An Phu Tan and Tam Ngai.

 

Over the past four years, the “House of compassion” program donated more than 100 houses worth more than VND3bln to the poor, 10 of which were given for the poor in Mekong Delta provinces.
