Elementary pupils to start 2nd-term exams

On April 4^th, pupils of elementary schools began to take the 2^nd-term exams started with English. On May 11^th and 12^th, pupils will continue with Mathematics, Vietnamese. Each school will schedule subjects of Sciences, History, Geography, and IT. Exam results will be a basis for evaluating the learning capacity of pupils in the 2014-2015 school year. 

Implementation of Circular 30 of the Ministry of Education – Training, from this school year, teachers have implemented innovative assessment methods switching from giving points to comments. This practice contributes to implementing the campaign "Say no to negative phenomena in examinations”, reducing private tuition. The change in evaluation method also helps teachers to adjust and reform their teaching methods, realize timely pupils’ efforts and progress to motivate, encourage pupils.
