Exciting summer activities in 2022 organized in Phu Giao district

On June 13, at Phuoc Thanh Victory Monument, the Steering Committee for Youths and Youth Activities of Phu Giao district, in collaboration with the Summer Steering Committee of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company, held the opening ceremony of the summer and launched the campaign and action month for children, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and the Summer Camp in anniversary of the 81^st year of Children Pioneers growing up with the nation in 2022 under the theme of joint protection of children and speaking up for the prevention of abuse and violence against children.

The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Phu Giao district donate bicycles to children and students in difficult circumstances

At the program, the People's Committee of the district, the district union and the Youth Union of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company awarded 11 scholarships and 20 gifts to disadvantaged children and students in the district. Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs presented 10 bicycles to disadvantaged children and students.

In addition, the Summer Camp offers meaningful and practical activities. Launching the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, units have organized medical examination and distribution for ethnic minorities with difficult circumstances, socially-privileged families, and young workers in difficulty. Propaganda about the history of Phuoc Thanh Victory Monument, sovereignty over seas and islands, border and drug prevention and control for youth in the district has been made.

The units also organized the awarding of repair and upgrading works of classrooms for the children of young workers in Dong Chinh hamlet of Phuoc Hoa commune in Phu Giao district. They also held the inauguration of a children's play area in An Long commune of Phu Giao district.
