On May 16, at Provincial Public Security, a seminar on "Solutions and plans to prevent and respond to threats to economic security” was held in Binh Duong province. Over the years, the work of ensuring economic security in the province has achieved remarkable results, contributing to maintaining national security and preserving the investment environment. Economic sectors continued to develop, economic structure of Binh Duong province continued to have a good shift. It is forecasted that in the coming time, the province would still have some potential risks to economic security such as broken orders, production chains, corruption and economic crimes, etc. Responding to threats to economic security in the province is a very urgent issue.
At the seminar, leaders of units and experts discussed common issues of economic security, in the context of market economy development, socialist orientation and international economic integration. Delegates analyzed and evaluated to find out causes and conditions leading to the threats to economic security in the province. Experts and scientists also contributed ideas, proposed many solutions in both theory and practice, serving practically the task of ensuring economic security, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development in Binh Duong province.
