Focusing on the implementation of three strategic breakthroughs in socio-economic development

Morning Dec 29, in Hanoi, the Government continued the online conference with localities regarding the implementation of NA’s Resolution on socio-economic development tasks and state budget forecast in 2016.

At the conference, representatives discussed achieved results in the socio-economic development in 2015, socio-economic development solutions, and state budget forecast in 2016.

Minister of Planning and Investment, Minister of Transportation, Minister of Construction, Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Affairs answered questions of localities about traffic problems, infrastructure development, investment, implementation of new rural construction, international economic integration...

Concluding at the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung basically agreed with reports, appreciated opinions of localities. Prime Minister stressed, in 2015 with the entire Party, army and people’s efforts, socio-economic condition had good changes and achieved important results in almost important areas.

In 2016, in the context of globalization and deeper integration, market competitiveness will be tougher. Prime Minister hoped that the Government, all levels strived to promote the achievements, management experiences, efficient operation to overcome difficulties and set out measures to achieve the goals.

Each ministry and locality must focus on promoting the implementation of three strategic breakthroughs in socio-economic development: perfecting mechanisms, especially market economy mechanism; administrative procedure reform; infrastructure material construction; human resource development…
