A self-control model of environmental protection

As a quarter in Di An ward, Binh Minh 2 quarter has become more beautiful, thanks to promulgation on improving the local people’s awareness on environment.

Nguyen Van Tai, the quarter’s resident, said two years ago, the quarter had many problems of order and sanitation. After launching a self-control model of environmental protection, this quarter has become more beautiful and cleaner.

Dang Ngoc Chau, head of the quarter, said ‘the quarter convenes local residents to improve awareness on environmental protection every 3 months’. ‘The quarter will set up two more self-control teams on environmental protection in the coming time’, added he.

To bring greenness and cleanliness for Di An

The town administration has paid a special attention to the environmental protection. A joint plan was signed between the town Fatherland Front Committee and town Division of Natural Resource and Environment. The plan’s key content is to improve the community’s awareness on environmental protection.

Ngo Ngoc Diep, the town Fatherland Front Committee chairwoman, said through the implementation of the joint plan, many good ways on environmental protection have emerged and improved local residents’ awareness on environment.
