Foreign Affairs Committee of National Assembly survey foreigner management in Vietnam

On 25 Feb, Nguyen Manh Tien, Vice Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of National Assembly, had a working session with Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee on the enforcement of policies and laws on the management of foreigners in Vietnam. Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of some departments and agencies in the province received and worked with the delegation.

As a province having many businesses and foreigners who come here to work and live, Provincial People's Committee well implemented legal dissemination; promulgated Regulation on cooperation, and directed provincial / municipal departments, branches and localities to abide by laws on entry, exit and residence of foreigners; ensuring social security and order and assisting foreigners in investing, working and living in the province. The management of foreigners was effectively implemented by agencies, units and localities; ensure legitimate rights and interests of foreigners when coming to invest, visit, travel, study or work; at the same time, proactively detected and promptly handled violations.

At the meeting, the delegation also listened to opinions of departments, agencies in Binh Duong about advantages, difficulties in policy and law enforcement on foreigner management in Binh Duong...
