From December on, banks will not collect taxes at their counters

Update: 14-07-2015 | 19:44:49

Ministry of Finance just issued a document requesting commercial banks to coordinate with General Department of Tax and Binh Duong Provincial Department of Tax to establish electronic tax payments. Accordingly, from December 2015 on, the banks will only supply electronic tax payment services to replace their reception at the counter, excluding the events of erroneous system.

From now to the mentioned time, the banks need to coordinate with General Department of Tax and Binh Duong Provincial Department of Tax to call upon their customers having bank accounts to carry out the electronic tax payments. The banks, themselves, will set up customer supporting service to debug and remove emerged obstacles as well as supervising and operating the system at peak hours from the 18th through 20th monthly for 24/7 services to the customers. For banks not having implemented electronic tax payment services, it is required that they should boost up the system establishment to supply the services at the soonest to their customers.
