Further speeding up vaccination against Covid-19 for people

On the afternoon of November 17, the Ministry of Health held an online conference with localities across the country to review the progress of vaccination against Covid-19. Attending the meeting in Binh Duong province were leaders of the local health sector.

In Binh Duong, up to now, 4,606,360 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been allocated by the Ministry of Health. The province has also received 4,311,744 doses, accounting for 94% of the total number of vaccines allocated. As of November 17, the whole province administered 4,168,117 doses of Covid-19 vaccine on people, including 2,410,766 with the first shot and 1,757,351 with the second shot. The province also gave 117,317 doses of Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 12 and 17.

Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen has asked for localities to step up vaccination against Covid-19 in the spirit of the Prime Minister's direction. The Ministry of Health will announce the vaccination progress of units on the mass media so that the people can know, monitor and supervise the situation. For any units or localities with low vaccination, the Ministry of Health will proactively transfer their amount of vaccines to others with high injection rate and fast injection progress.
