Get-together marks the CPV’s 89th anniversary

Thuan An town’s Party Committee, on January 29, held a get-together to mark the 89th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-February 3, 2019) and celebrate the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2019, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the 89-year history of the CPV. During the past 89 years, the town’s Party and people were always honorable to partially contribute to the common victory of the Party and nation in war time as well as in peacetime. The town’s Party Committee raised high its role in leading people to share efforts in the cause of homeland construction and renewal. On this occasion, the town’s Party Committee also awarded the 40-55-year Party membership insignias to 18 Party members.

The same day, leaders of the province and the town visited, offered wreaths, incenses at Thuan An Hoa war zone historical relic site and Binh Nham Memorial Temple to commemorate heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom…
