Early May 3, provincial Club for the Retired held a get-together to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2022).
The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Van Dong, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee.
At the get-together, members of the club reviewed the heroic tradition of the army and people of Binh Duong province in the cause of resistance war against the US for national salvation; offensive momentum to completely liberate the South and reunify the country. Upholding the glorious revolutionary tradition, since April 30, 1975, the Party, government and people of the province have always united with one heart, joined hands to overcome difficulties and well upheld all resources to help Binh Duong become a developed industrial province in the Southern Key Economic Zone. The quality of people’s life in the province has been improved and enhanced; political security, social order and safety are always maintained; the great national unity bloc has been expanded, strengthened and upheld.
Speaking at the get-together, M.Loc informed members of the club of the province's socio-economic development over the past time as well as Covid-19 prevention and control in the current period. He also congratulated the club on its results done over the past time. In particular, in the face of difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Club's Managing Board has just encouraged members of the club to continue setting good example for their families in performing "dual tasks" of pandemic prevention-control and economic development in the "new normal" period...
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Loc said that provincial leaders will continue accompanying and supporting provincial Club for the Retired so that the club is always the common roof of the local retired officials and Party members.
On this occasion, provincial Club for the Retired signed a joint plan on propagandizing affairs at home and abroad with provincial Party Committee’s Education-Propaganda Commission, Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee, Binh Duong Newspaper and a number of departments and sectors; mobilized members to build civilized urban- cultural lifestyle, the movement of "All people consolidate to build cultural life"…
