Gifts offered to the poor at humanitarian market-day

On August 31, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with donors to open a humanitarian market-day for the local needy people, especially those affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee donates money to humanitarian addresses

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee together with representatives of sectors, departments and mass organizations in the province.

With the theme of “Joining hands for the community’s health”, the humanitarian market-day has been maintained by provincial Red Cross Society for many months, mobilizing donors to offer help to the poor. Over the past time, the society also received support from enterprises, donors in and out of the province.

At the market-day, provincial Red Cross Society delivered coupons worth more than VND200,000 each to 236 people with difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the province also donated VND81million from the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address” in the remaining 6 months of 2020 to 45 needy addresses in TDM city.
