Gifts offered to the poor, lottery ticket vendors

On April 6 and 7, the War Veterans ‘Society and Youth Union of Phu Tho ward in TDM city offered 100 gifts worth VND300,000 each to needy lodgers in quarter 4.

These gifts were funded by a donor, sharing difficulties with the local poor people during Covid-19 pandemic.

*Early April 7, the Youth Union of Hoa Phu ward in TDM city donated 60 gifts worth VND150,000 each, comprising of rice and necessities, to 30 lottery ticket vendors, 30 poor and near-poor households.

Prior to that, the ward’s Youth Union also offered gifts to the local lottery ticket vendors with difficult circumstances. As planned, the local Youth Union will give gifts for 50 needy workers.

*The Women’s Union of Phuoc Hoa commune in Phu Giao district has just mobilized 12 proprietors to carry out rent fee exemption and reduction for workers.

Accordingly, these proprietors carried out rent fee exemption and reduction with more than VND63million for workers at 148 lodging rooms. The local Women’s Union also mobilized organizations, individuals to give 50 gifts worth VND5million, comprising of rice and instant noodles, for 50 laborers with difficult circumstances together with 200 masks for workers at firms; continued delivering propaganda leaflets on Covid-19 prevention to members, workers at lodging facilities…
