Giving gifts to union members and workers’ children having difficult circumstances and excellent studying results

On August 18, the Labor Federation of Thuan An City organized a gift giving ceremony for union members and workers’ children having difficult circumstances and excellent studying results in the 2023-2024 school year.

Accordingly, the City Labor Federation presented 231 gifts, including school bags, notebooks, milk and 500,000 VND in cash, to the children of union members and workers. The gift, though small, shows timely concern and encouragement before the new school year to students having difficult circumstances. This is one of the meaningful annual activities of the City Labor Federation to promptly commend and encourage poor but excellent children of union members and workers before the new school year.

l On the same morning, at Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company (TBS Group), production area No. 2 (Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An city), TBS Group held the 21st "TBS Group Scholarship Award Ceremony 2024" for students, who are children of employees working at units under TBS Group in Binh Duong area and had excellent academic achievements in the 2023-2024 school year.

At the ceremony, TBS Group awarded 1,255 scholarships worth from 600,000 to 2 million VND. The scholarship value depends on each level of study and achievement; the total value of the scholarships is more than 1.4 billion VND.
