They were prepared thoughtfully, strictly, safely and thrifty in accordance with the association's charter and instructions of the superior association. The highlight of the district-level Veterans Association congress was good preparation from documents, personnel, propaganda and emulation in celebration of the congress.

The success of the grassroots, district, town and city Veterans Association congresses is a prerequisite for the successful organization of the 7th provincial Veterans Association congress for the 2022-2027 tenure to be held in late September, 2022.

Propaganda activities promoted

Mr.Tai said that the 7th provincial Veterans Association congress is a profound and comprehensive political activity in all levels of the association and all members. The congress aims at further encouraging the generations of veterans to maintain and uphold the nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", the tradition of "loyalty - solidarity - exemplary - innovation", contributing to successfully realizing the Resolution of Party congresses at all levels.

For the congress being a profound and comprehensive political activity, for many months, provincial Veterans Associations at all levels have strengthened propaganda activities in celebration of the congress, helping members be deeply aware of the meaning, spirit, importance and contents of the congress. Many typical activities can be mentioned such as organizing "veterans’ singing" contests; building 7 "comradeship" houses for 7 members with a total value of VND700 million plus VND 300 million supporting essential equipment ̀; making urban rejuvenation for 45 roads...

In order to well prepare for the organization of the congress, provincial Veterans Association has implemented key tasks such as setting up a plan to organize the congress; setting up draft documents of the congress; implementing the contents of personnel work; preparing a report to request provincial Party Committee to approve a plan on key staff of provincial Veterans Association for the 2022-2027 tenure; well doing the task of ensuring materials, propaganda work before the congress.

It is known that the draft document of the congress has been prepared in 4 steps. The preparation and implementation of the personnel process have ensured compliance with the association's charter and guidelines of the Vietnam Veterans Association; focused on selecting and introducing personnel to the executive committee and standing committee, especially key cadres for the 2022-2027 tenure. They are typical people in terms of quality, capacity, prestige and health to gather, unite and meet requirements in directing the tasks of the association in the new situation.

Along with the process of preparing for the congress, provincial Veterans Association has increased propaganda about its role and position in the cause of national construction and defense, promoting the nature and tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers: “Solidarity, exemplary, creativity, innovation”; directing its branches to promote emulation movements to welcome its 7th congress towards to the 7th National Veterans Association.
