Ensuring sustainable development

2016 is the year with opportunities for economic growth, but also has challenges, according to economic experts. Hence, State agencies together with the business community needs to map out proper and long-term strategies for processing industries to further reach sustainable development.

For competition guaranteed, according to Mr.Loc, domestic businesses need to have good preparations as Vietnam joins the Trans-Pacific Economic Strategic Partnership Agreement (TPP). Saigon-Mien Dong Beer Joint Stock Company and other beer businesses, especially domestic ones need to improve their products’ quality and trademark…

To leaders of provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), Binh Duong will continue promoting traditional industries with advantage about materials towards the growth of industries of agro-forestry-fishery and food processing, mechanics and metal production. The province will also attach special importance to fostering auxiliary industries while increasing the rate of localization in association with industries of components…to make a strong change in quality in the local industrial development.

In addition, the province will take support measures for businesses to enhance the quality and value of commodities for export, especially traditional ones; build up advanced industrial manufacture with high competition in domestic and foreign markets. All aim to develop the province into a big industrial hub with the national and regional size by 2020.

Provincial DoIT assessed that the above results came from the efforts by the province in implementing the Government’s measures on removing difficulties against production, business, supporting market, thereby helping businesses get access to loans. Businesses also made efforts in improving their management capacity, innovating technologies, saving production costs…for better results in production and business.
