Human resources for economic structure shift ensured

To achieve targets on socio-economic development for the 2015-2020 period, Tan Uyen town’s People’s Committee over the past five years attached special importance to training human resources at requirements of the shift of the local economic structure towards industry, services and agriculture.

The town organized 40 vocational training classes for 1,024 rural laborers, 38 others at primary and immediate levels for 847 laborers. The rate of laborers getting jobs was 86.2% while the rate of laborers trained was 80%.

According to the assessment of the town’s People’s Committee, the town’s vocational training for rural laborers reached positive results. Locals were also more aware of policies and importance of vocational learning, thereby making more efforts in studying and seeking stable jobs.
