Implementation of PAPI in 3 cities under scrutiny

Early April 15, a delegation of provincial People's Council had a thematic monitoring session on the situation and results of implementation of the indicators of efficiency in provincial governance and public administration index (PAPI) in 3 cities: Thuan An, Di An and Thu Dau Mot at the People's Committee of Thuan An city.

Accordingly, the delegation surveyed the implementation of 3 indicators on: “Participation of the people at grassroots level”; “Accountability to the people, settlement of complaints and denunciations of the people, access to judicial services...; “Environmental administration”, environmental protection, air quality, water quality…

This monitoring round aimed at helping the province get assess to advantages that need to be further promoted and shortcomings for change in the coming time, thereby contributing to gradually improving the local transparency process, promoting reform, uphold the participation of people from all strata in the process of building, implementing and monitoring the implementation of the local policies, improving the effectiveness of the province's PAPI.
